My new name is Mummy. How on Earth do I do that?!
Let's be realistic, if you're a new mum, you feel - and are - isolated. You no longer go to work, your friends visit sometimes but their lives go on, and going to church or to mum-and-baby groups - as much as you'd love to - is not always easy, given that you are dependent on your baby's sleeping, feeding and not decorating you with spit up as you're on your way out. More often than not, it's just easier to stay home, or more important to have a nap. And that's ok.
However, you still have both emotional and spiritual needs and doubts - my hope is to see this site grow into a community and a fellowship, helping mums to grow as mums, from swapping tips on nappy rash and sleeping, games and activities for all ages, to spiritual growth and prayer.
I'll do as much as I can - in between feeds and nappies, but I'm really hoping for contributions from other mums, both new and 'old', regardless of age, nationality or denomination. Please see the 'contact' page for how to contribute.
